В конце 90-х я переводил этот рассказ на русский язык. В связи со всеми тогдашними сложностями он так и не был издан. Но вот начало его я помню очень хорошо:

Сюда, друзья, и пусть у нас
Заплещет в кружках эль.
Мы выпьем доброго вина,
И нас охватит хмель.
И пусть на блюде мяса кус
Покоится горой,
Поскольку мясо и вино
Приносят нам покой.

И т.д.
Если схожу к родителям, захвачу полный вариант перевода. А так не помню
